Complete in Christ

Topic: Complete in Christ
Text: Colossians 2:9-10

“For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.”

In Christ, we find completeness that transcends the fleeting measures of this world. His fullness encompasses every aspect of our lives, making us whole and victorious in Him.

Complete in Christ:

  1. Wealth and Health: While the world may measure completeness by wealth and health,
true completeness is found in Christ alone. Wealth and health can bring temporary
satisfaction, but only in Jesus do we find lasting fulfillment and peace (Proverbs 10:22, 3
    John 1:2).
  2. Wisdom: Though wisdom is prized among men, it is insufficient to make us complete.
Even the wisest of men, like Solomon, found emptiness apart from God (Ecclesiastes 1:18). In Christ, we find true wisdom that leads to righteousness and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30).
  3. Freedom from Sorrow: In Jesus, we find joy that transcends circumstances. The joy of the Lord becomes our strength, lifting us above sorrow and filling us with peace
    (Nehemiah 8:10, John 16:24).
  4. Victory: Through Christ, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). His victory over sin and death assures us of triumph in every trial and tribulation (Ephesians 2:5-6, Philippians 2:9-11).
  5. Peace: Jesus offers us a peace that surpasses understanding, calming our troubled hearts and promising us an eternal home with Him (John 14:1-3).

Life Application:
As believers, let us apply the truth of our completeness in Christ to our daily lives. Let us:

  • Trust in Jesus as the source of our completeness, seeking Him in every aspect of our lives.
  • Rejoice in our identity in Christ, knowing that we lack nothing when we are found in Him.
  • Share the message of completeness in Jesus with others, inviting them to find true fulfillment in Him alone.

In Jesus, we find completeness in every aspect of our lives—physically, mentally, materially,
maritally, and financially. He is the source of our strength, the fountain of our joy, and the anchor
of our souls. Let us surrender our lives to Him and find true completeness in Christ alone.

Salvation Call:
If you desire to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, pray with me: “Lord, save my soul, have mercy on me, forgive all my sins, and I will serve You from now on.”
May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His peace fill your heart as you walk in completeness with Him in Jesus name. Amen.
