2. Galatians 4:6 – “Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, ‘Abba! Father!'”

Introduction: Beloved congregation, today we explore the profound truth that each of us is a
child of destiny, predestined by God for a purpose beyond measure. Let us delve into the signs
that affirm our status as children of destiny.

Signs of a Child of Destiny:

1. Fear and Love for the Lord – Psalm 111:10
2. Faith in Their Dreams – Hebrews 11:1
3. Planning with God and Trusting in His Guidance – Proverbs 16:3
4. Hatred for Sin – Proverbs 8:13
5. Persistence and Perseverance – Galatians 6:9
6. Unstoppable in Pursuing God’s Will – Philippians 3:14
7. Prompt Action and Avoidance of Procrastination – James 1:22
   As affirmed in 1 John 3:1, “See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are.” We are indeed children of destiny, heirs to the promises of God, as stated in Galatians 3:29, “And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise.”

Life Application: Let us embrace our identity as children of destiny with boldness and confidence. May we walk in obedience to God’s will, trusting in His plans for our lives. As we live out our destiny, let us shine as lights in the world, revealing the love and power of our Heavenly Father to those around us. Amen.
